At Nanyang Law, Claire oversees a team specializing in patent matters, including conducting prior art searches, advising on the patent process, and drafting substantive responses to overcome patentability objections in office actions.

Her previous experiences include working with clients across various industries to manage their local and foreign PCT patent applications, which range the field of engineering to pharmaceuticals. She enjoys working with inventors and engineers to better understand their inventions in order to draft accurate patent specifications. She also advises clients on patent application strategy.

In addition, Claire had also worked in the National University of Singapore, where she conducted patentability assessments on various projects in the field of Life Science. She also identified the commercial viability of new inventions, performed research on the industry landscape to identify competitive intelligence, and wrote business proposals for the commercialization of new inventions.

Claire holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical) from the National University of Singapore with Minors in Business and Psychology. She also holds a Graduate Certificate in Intellectual Property Law (GCIP).
