In Nanyang Law, Rui Ying’s main areas of practice are real estate and conveyancing which includes sale & purchase of residential, commercial and industrial properties. Her advice also extends to Landlord and Tenant disputes. She is also involved in Nanyang Law’s Litigation Department.

Her previous practice included representing a number of local and international banks on conveyancing transactions, which she continues to do so till this day. She also advised a sales committee on a Collective Sale exercise. Her previous experience as a conveyancing secretary, prior to her admission to the Singapore Bar, gives her the edge in familiarity with procedural and technical aspects of conveyancing transactions.

She is a member of the Singapore Academy of Law as well as member of the Conveyancing Practice Committee, the Law Society of Singapore.

Rui Ying holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of Liverpool and is qualified as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore.
