ONG Yue Seong

At Nanyang Law, Yue Seong is involved in patent and trademark work, including drafting and reviewing of correspondences and documents related to Patent and Trademark, as well as monitoring of intellectual property files and deadlines. He is also responsible for coordinating communication between clients and various government departments. Yue Seong has acquired experience in conducting patent searches. His strong background in Science has also accorded him the ability to identify and resolve problems which arise from applications that are more complicated. In addition to conducting patent searches, he is also responsible for evaluating the patentability of patent applications before filing new applications. He is also involved in filing responses to office actions.

Yue Seong is a Registered Malaysian Patent Agent. Besides, he holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering by research from University Teknologi Petronas, and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering with First Class Honours from SEGi University.
